MTAA Basketball

Mission Statement

Purpose and objective:
To provide our youth with a safe and supervised basketball program. We strive to teach the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, competition, hard work, and discipline, as well as individual achievement. Success is not measured by the win-loss record but by the growth and development of the child.

Age groups & Placement:
We welcome participation for boys and girls Grade K thru U17.

We provide an In-house program for K to 2nd grade. It starts the 1st week of January and finishes at the end of March. Practices are usually 1 hour long on 1 week night and Saturday mornings. We often have mid season scrimmages with other interested programs in area.

U8 thru U15 travel teams participate in the Community Basketball League (CBL) which is located in eastern PA and NJ.

Grade 3 (U8) plays at the U9 instructional level within the CBL. Practices begin early December and games begin January.

U9 thru U15 play at the competitive level in the CBL. Practices start the 1st week of November and games begin mid December and last until the end of March.

U17 (boys only) league play at In The Zone.
